The website of the CSW / STI Berlin PhD Network provides a communication platform and allows PhD students to share their experiences. By providing an event calendar for calls and events as well as a literature survey organized in topics it aims at supporting the scientific work of PhD students in the field of Semantic Web technologies.

The CSW / STI Berlin PhD Network addresses postgraduates from all over Germany. The thematic focus of the PhD project should lie in the area of Semantic Web technologies. Additionally, interdisciplinary topics that cope with networked information systems and knowledge representation are welcome.

There are four meetings a year planned, where the first three are supposed to be qualification events and aim at the promotion of the attendee's PhD projects through short lectures and discussions. It is also a place to practice the defence of ones doctoral thesis. A PhD Workshop with CfP and Online Proceedings will complete the annual meetings.
