CSW Berlin & SWC Vienna jointly provide webinars on Corporate Semantic Web

2009-12-23 20:29

Starting in 2010 the Semantic Web Company and the Corporate Semantic Web Working Group of FU Berlin will jointly provide webinars on the use of Semantic Web technologies in corporate settings.

"Nowadays people hear a lot about the Semantic Web but do not really know, what it is about and how to get started. The webinars provide an opportunity to get familiar with this new technology especially in the context of enterprise use." says Adrian Paschke, head of CSW Berlin.

The webinars offer basics and practical knowledge about methodologies, technologies and standards of the Semantic Web. Within 90 minutes the participants acquire an overview over good practices and latest developments in the application of Semantic Web technologies for data integration, enterprise search, thesaurus management, business process management, linked data and more.#

"The partnership with CSW Berlin is a perfect combination to stay up to date with this fast evolving technology field and provide high quality information to our customers" says Tassilo Pellegrini from SWC. "CSW is at the edge of Corporate Semantic Web development in Europe. By pooling our expertise we can mutually extend our reach and bring the idea of the Semantic Web to the streets."
